I find life very humorous. I hate all the is a contradiction or hypocritical in this world, yet the very thing I loath, I am. I have then come to realize one particular message that is constantly a thorn in my side. Carpe Diem. Everyone knows what that means because it is a famous quote in Latin, but I doubt few actually grasp the concpt behind that phrase. Sieze the day is more than just taking control of your own life, it is the very essence of twisting life to conform to your will. To create life so happy that you will finally experiance joy and happiness. If you believe that pure happiness cannot be reached, then this may be the closest gift for you. I admit I am a Hypocrite, I have said many times over one thing, and turn around only to completely prophess the opposite as gold. I will let you all in on a secret, I may be a Hypocrite but at least I am enjoying life. Life seems much better when you stop thinking and let it just flow from your veins, into the streets, past the trees, into the mouths of clamourous youth, everywhere. So the next time you hear a man say "Carpe Diem", stare at him directly in his eyes and congratulate him on being a hypocrite, but more important, being human.
